You’ll work alongside the UX team, the Backend Engineering team and Product Owners to iterate on new features for Rogue’s digital products. Sr Frontend/UI Developer acts as a mentor to peers by providing direction and implementation on technical projects. In this role, you will work within a team to implement new features and functions as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing functionality. A highly motivated individual who will take ownership over major facets of all Rogue related sites.


  • Clearly communicate project concerns, timelines and enhancements to lead.
  • Develop and maintain the UI tier based on industry best practices.
  • Implement rapid changes to meet changing business and marketing requirements.
  • Work in an Agile focused team environment in supporting the team goals, and improving web development engineering practices.
  • Analyze and optimize pages and page design for maximum performance.
  • Act as a mentor to peers.
  • Develop code consistent with standard coding practices.


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience building Frontend web applications.
  • You have a solid understanding of CSS, semantic HTML and core JavaScript concepts.
  • Professional experience with VueJS or another modern JavaScript web framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
  • You have a solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg. how does JavaScript handle asynchronous code.)
  • Experience with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js.
  • Ability to understand the concepts of progressive enhancement.
  • Experience of browser performance, rendering behavior, testing and debugging - using tools such as LightHouse / GTMetrix to measure your results.
  • Comfortable in a command-line environment, source version control software (Git / Bitbucket) and Jira Ticketing System.
  • Experience with and a strong belief in software engineering best practices: agile scrum, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, etc.
  • You are proactive in taking ownership of tasks and take them to completion.
  • You desire to learn and continually give and receive feedback effectively.
