  • Overview

    The logistics buyer position is based at the Rogue Fitness headquarters in Columbus, OH and interfaces on a daily basis with the operations, finance and purchasing teams to manage Rogue Fitness’ inbound and outbound transportation needs. We are looking for somebody to lead and evolve the logistics network in alignment with the Rogue business goals and departmental strategies. The position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.


    • Maintain existing contracts and supplier relationships for all inbound and outbound logistics networks.
    • Develop strategic plans to improve efficiency, quality and productivity of the Rogue Fitness logistics network.
    • RFP annual ocean freight, develop analysis and recommendations for senior management and negotiate associated contracts.
    • Work with the purchasing team to track inbound shipments to ensure on time delivery from suppliers.
    • Work with finance and sales teams to track optimal outbound shipping methods for products and identify opportunities to reduce total cost.
    • Experience within international tariff management and trade compliance operations.
    • Effectively listens to and explains difficult issues to reach a shared understanding and build alignment.
    • Ability to identify opportunities and initiate projects independently.


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • 3+ years experience preferred.
    • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
    • Ability to communicate complicated issues in a succinct way to get quick decisions for the leadership team.
    • History with high volume residential freight and parcel and freight environment preferred.
    • History with tariffs and trade compliance.
