    Position Overview


    The Warehouse Supervisor directs the daily work schedules of warehouse team members involved in performing a combination of: shipping, receiving, loading/unloading trucks, stacking, picking and palletizing finished products.


    Position Responsibilities

    • Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution of products, parts and accessories to achieve distribution objectives.
    • Ensures maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment.
    • Supervises, motivates and assigns specific responsibilities to distribution center teammates.
    • Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and other performance markers to provide counseling, as required.
    • Ensures orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times.
    • Ensures company vehicles are maintained in an orderly manner and operated in accordance with city, state and federal laws
    • Coordinates workloads with Managers.
    • Maintains various records and reports, such as lost sales, error report and production report.
    • Ensures that all stored material is organized and clearly identified.
    • Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the unit.
    • Hiring and training team members during their employment while appraising performance, motivating, addressing complaints and resolving problems.  


    Position Requirements

    • Solid foundation in superior safety and quality practices
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5 -7 years in supervisory role in manufacturing or warehouse setting
    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet.
    • Must be able to remain standing for 7+ hours.
    • Ability to work near high temperature equipment and materials.
    • Reach with hands and arms.
    • Able to climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
    • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (Hot/Cold).
    • Good dexterity.
