  • Overview

    Responsible for managing the development and implementation of application systems and hands-on leadership of a team of developers and analysts.

    Responsibilities

    • Creates and executes application strategies and roadmaps to support and expand company growth and vision.
    • Works closely and partners with business leaders to align IT activities with business objectives creating strong relationships.
    • Maintains detailed working knowledge of software products and stays current on market research and industry positions for innovative roadmap designs for company growth.
    • Supervises, plans, directs and assists staff to produce solutions driven outcomes.
    • Works to ensure efficient, cost effective operations with changing priorities and manages resource realignment.
    • Provides planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvement.
    • Provides direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and insight for complex development, application upgrades and operational troubleshooting in a mixed-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) environment.
    • Works closely with and manages issues with third party software vendors.
    • Defines and coordinates team activities related to the implementation, ongoing support, measurement and continuous improvement of the company’s applications solutions.
    • Oversee production systems and ensures quality standards are met and ensures delivery of 24/‚Äč7 service operations.

    Qualifications

    • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, modeling, invoicing, supply chain management, accounts payable automation, vendor integrations, month end financial automation, PCI compliance.
    • Master’s Degree preferred.
    • 3+ years managing software developers.
    • Experience collaborating with business leaders to define, prioritize, and deliver right-sized application solutions.
    • Experience managing: application developers, business analysts, quality assurance teams, contracts and vendors.
    • Knowledge of technologies and best practices for application solutions delivery in fast paced business environment.
