  • Overview

    The Quality Assurance Analyst assists the lead in focusing on developing and executing software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. This position is fast paced and ever changing, requiring flexibility, self-initiative, and regular management of changing priorities.

    Responsibilities

    • Document software defects, using VSTS, and report defects to software developers and project managers.
    • Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
    • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
    • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
    • Test complex enhancements to Rogue’s distributed system.
    • Ability to change process execution during product line testing.
    • Manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relations with a wide variety of individuals.
    • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.

     

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of quality assurance analysis or similar job experience desired.
    • Four-year College Degree, BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Occasional nighttime and weekend work is required within the position.
    • Must work well both independently and as a member of a team.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team–oriented work environment.
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
