The Senior UI Designer will take complicated customer-facing processes and create visual solutions to make them seem easy and intuitive.  The Senior UX/UI Designer will collaborate with UX Manager, UX/UI Design Lead, engineering and product management teams in the execution and delivery of successful ecommerce products and services, using a customer-focused, iterative design process.


  • Perform competitive analysis and research for projects.
  • Research and analyze industry UX/UI trends and competitor strategies .
  • Create and revise information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to: content diagrams, content maps, wireframes, comprehensive diagrams and static prototypes.
  • Direct ongoing usability testing, assess results and search all platforms for future testing opportunities.
  • Work with project teams to complete information architecture and interface development processes for new production projects including site map, wireframe layout and template development/testing (browser and platform compatibility) while maintaining quick page load times.
  • Work with internal and client teams to design and build user-friendly forms, applications and interfaces based on functional specifications.
  • Participate in key internal meetings, including weekly status updates and planning sessions.
  • Document ongoing progress and status on work assignments in Basecamp, JIRA and Asana.
  • Conduct & facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews.
  • Review user adoption of deliverables and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/archived appropriately.
  • Present all work and documentation to internal teams.


  • 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience in a retail environment (and the portfolio to prove it) as a key, hands-on interaction/visual designer of a UX/UI team through the product development cycle of successfully launched web, mobile, and/or software applications.
  • A well-rounded UX/UI professional who connects the dots between business needs, innovation and good design.
  • Experienced at driving a user experience from start-to-finish that delivers results.
  • Obsessed with good user-centered design practices.
  • Impeccable visual skills with an eye for detail.
  • Experienced at creating and revising information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to: content diagrams, content maps, wireframe diagrams, comprehensive diagrams and static prototypes.
  • Able to give feedback and perspective on process and workflow.
  • Passionate about understanding current and upcoming UX/UI trends with the ability to keep the team and clients informed on shifts in the ecommerce industry.
  • Motivated to bring value and a voice to an emerging team within the business.
  • Experience with software and apps like, Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision and other design and prototyping tools.
  • Experience designing for iOS and Android platforms
  • Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities.
  • Fluent in responsive design and mobile UX/UI.
  • Able to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, shifting environment
  • Must be resourceful and passionate about problem-solving.
  • Motion design experience preferred.
