The Business Process Engineer/Analyst acts on behalf of the Manufacturing business unit to identify and drive improvement in processes and information systems.


  • Proactively performs process and information systems analysis and makes recommendations for improvement that positively impact overall cost, efficiency, or quality.
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks, such as designing and documenting business process and information systems logic.
  • Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and departmental staff.
  • Defines information system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives.
  • Coordinates the efforts of business and IT teams to locate, assess, install, test, and maintain computer software systems.
  • Coordinates conversions and upgrades to vendor systems.
  • Performs as a project lead and directs other systems analysts or application developers.
  • Assists in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures.


  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Information Technology or Business.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in systems analysis and/or software development preferred with project management or leadership responsibilities.
  • Must have solid knowledge of manufacturing planning and execution processes.
  • Experience working with various types of manufacturing work cells, such as welding, machining, sewing, woodworking, laser cutting, forming, and assembly is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a desire to craft quality solutions using the best available tools.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing systems analyst tasks.
  • Must have ability to communicate and organize projects frequently under deadline pressure.
